Survivors include her four daughters, Dawn & husband Waddie Mahan of Lubbock, Texas, Kelly & husband John Henderson of Lovington, New Mexico, Michelle & husband Aaron Woods of Farwell, Texas, Judith & husband Brian Puryear of Abilene, Texas, three sisters, Earvelle Schneider, Wilma Privetts and Lana Powell, two brothers, Curtis Briscoe and Phillip Briscoe, sixteen grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband Harvey Head, Sr., her parents Samuel and Ora Pearl McCabe, one brother and one nephew.
