ARLINGTON - Mary Catherine "Katie" Polvadore. 89, of Amarillo died Friday, May 6, 2011.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Llano Cemetery Mausoleum Chapel. Entombment will be in Llano Cemetery. Arrangements are by Griggs-Schooler-Gordon Funeral Directors, 5400 S. Bell St.

Mrs. Polvadore was born to the late Leslie Monroe Crump and Elma Martin Reynolds in Crosbyton. Catherine "Katie" graduated from Crosbyton High School in 1939. She spent her youth in Crosbyton and later became a longtime resident of Amarillo. Catherine enjoyed life and was a true people person. She was always looking for new adventures. She lived life to the fullest.

Survivors include a daughter, Melodi Polvadore of Arlington; a granddaughter, Rachel Polvadore of Arlington; three half sisters, Clara Cummings, Jane Niemann and Dixie Kennedy; and two cousins, Eloita Perry and Oneida Green.

The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 pm today at the funeral home.
