-Martha Hough Bunch, age 80, of Fay Street, Jackson, GA died Saturday, May 7, 2011 at the Upson Regional Medical Center in Thomaston. She was born in Grady County, Georgia, February 20, 1931 daughter of the late Arthur and Cleo Ellerbee Hough. She attended Mary Persons High school in Forsyth and Crandell Business College. She married Lucius Harold Lindsey in 1946 and married Phillip Bunch 1984. She was employed as a ward clerk at the Monroe County Hospital for over 15 years. She was a devoted member of the Macedonia Baptist Church. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and homemaker. She had an exceptional gift of writing and gardening and was an excellent seamstress. She loved music and playing the guitar.
-She is survived by her husband of 27 years, Philip Bunch of Jackson; children, Peggy and Charles Blythe of Forsyth, GA, Georgia Hendricks of Port St. Joe, FL, Luther and Sally Lindsey of Forsyth, GA, Debra and Johnny Phillips of Conyers, GA, Denise and Joe Hodges of Griffin, GA; 10 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, brother, Joe Hough, Melrose, FL and numerous nieces and nephews.
