14 Nov 1902--William Avery died at his home near Myers Friday, Nov 7, 1902, after an illness of two weeks. Deceased was 32 years old and leaves a wife and three children to mourn his loss. He was a member of the Howard County Mutual Life Insurance Co, in good standing. The remains were interred in the cemetery at Myers Chapel, the deceased being a member of the Holiness congregation at that place. He leaves many friends and relatives who sympathize with the family in their hour of affliction.
