He was born Aug. 25, 1907, in Sparland to Clyde Clifford and Emily Pheobe Clifton McLaughlin. Surviving are two brothers, Cecil L. of Milwaukee and Richard E. of Ridgecrest, Calif.; and four sisters, Emily Ryan of Henry, Lilly Griffith and Margaret Rumbaugh, both of Costa Mesa, Calif., and Trella Beck of Sparland. Five brothers and three sisters preceded him in death.
Cremation has been accorded, and burial of ashes will be in Sparland Cemetery.
