BOSSIER CITY, LA - Services for Raymond Kilpatrick, 94, will be 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 10, 2011 at Rose-Neath's Bossier Chapel, with Chaplain Dana Casey of Willis-Knighton Hospice officiating. Interment will follow at Hill Crest Memorial Cemetery, Haughton, LA with Army Honors. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, May 9, 2011 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Bossier City.

Mr. Kilpatrick was born May 17, 1916 in Athens, LA to Luther George and Effie Pearl Lofton Kilpatrick and died May 6, 2011 in Bossier City, LA. He was of the Baptist faith and retired as a shop superintendent from Braswell Industries after more than 30 years of service. He was a WWII veteran, having served his country in the U.S. Army.

His wife, Louise D. Kilpatrick; brother, Garland Kilpatrick and sisters, Sybil Sanders and Blondell Linfield preceded him in death.

Mr. Kilpatrick is survived by his son, David L. Kilpatrick and wife Sandy of Shreveport, LA; daughter, Karen K. Chapman of Bossier City, LA; grandchildren, Kelly K. Stephenson, Kyle Kilpatrick, Corey Chapman, Heath Chapman; great grandchildren, Dylan Stephenson, Madeline Stephenson, Seth Chapman, Matthew Chapman, Kathleen Chapman; sister, Christine Hiser and husband Shelley and sister-in-law, Maxine Kilpatrick.

Honoring him as pallbearers will be Randy Kilpatrick, Billy Foster, Steve Daniel, Reese Daniel, Mike Daniel and Erick Kilpatrick.
