Mrs. Helen Louise Tyree, 81, of St. Albans, died June 26, 2004, in Riverside Nursing Home. She was a former housekeeper in the St. Albans area. Helen was preceded in death by her husband Arthur Tyree; her son, Benjamin and her daughter, Stacey. Helen is survived by her daughter, Helen Jean Tryee of St. Albans; two sisters, Thelma Kennedy of Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas, and Geraldine Atkins of Big Tyler. She is also survived by her grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 29, 2004, at Casdorph & Curry Funeral Home, 110 B St., St. Albans, with Pastor Jimmy Russell officiating. Burial will follow at Teays Hill Cemetery, St. Albans. There will be a gathering of family and friends from 6-8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
