Adam Lucas Braddy, age 18, formerly of Burlington, passed away on Thursday, March 10, 2011.

Adam was born on a beautiful Monday afternoon, October 19, 1992 at Alamance County Hospital.

He was born again on January 30, 2011.

Adam was a 2010 graduate of Tarheel Challenge Academy "Airborne" OOAH! and was a member of Cape Fear Baptist Church where his father serves as pastor. He and his father operated Braddy Lawn Care.

He is survived by his parents, David C. and Angie Hughes Braddy of the home and many aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Bob and Annie Laurie Braddy, Bobby and Mae Hughes and uncles, Steve and Mike Braddy.

Adam was an energetic young man and had the personality to match. He had a smile as big and bright as the sun and could make you laugh in a minute. He loved his family and his friends and loved working with the little children at the church. Adam was always a help to those with special needs.

A celebration of Adam's life will be held Sunday, March 13, 2011 at 4 p.m. at the Wicker Street Baptist Church in Burlington by Rev. Chris Haizlip.

The family wishes to extend their heartfelt gratitude to all who have shown their love, thoughtfulness and compassion toward them at this difficult time.
