On April 19, 1891, Martha Ann Jackson married Samuel H. Temples (1860-1907) in Hamilton, Texas. They had five children, four who lived to adulthood. After Samuel died, she married William Preston Dorris (1867-1952) on September 18, 1911 in Hamilton. As a widow, she spent the last years of her life living in the Edgewood neighborhood in Waco near the old Cotton Mill. She is buried in Rosemound Cemetery, Waco.
