Alice Ruth Kearns Pickler, 94, of Albemarle, died at 1:40 a.m. Friday, May 6, 2011 in Bethany Woods Nursing Center, Albemarle.
Her funeral will be 7 p.m. Monday, May 9, 2011 at Full Gospel Mission Church. Rev. Mitchell Cook and Rev. Jerry Baker will officiate and burial will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, May 10, 2011 at Anderson Grove Baptist Church cemetery.
Born Sept. 13, 1916 in Stanly County, she was the daughter of the late John Franklin and Ellen Josephine Holshouser Kearns.
She was a retired employee of Wiscassett Mills Co. and was a charter member of Full Gospel Mission Church and also was very instrumental in founding the church.
She was married to the late John Raymond Pickler, who preceded her in death March 27, 2005.
The family will receive friends at Full Gospel Mission Church on Monday evening from 6-7 p.m. prior to the hour of the service.
