He was born in Coffeyville, Kan to Floyd Columbus and Mollie Gertrude Norris Bowen. He was a retired farmer and a member of Phillips Chapel Free Will Baptist Church. He had worked with the Corps of Engineers and was involved in development of Devil's Den State Park. He was preceded in death by his wives, Dorothy Francis Eoff Bowen and Emmagine Cook Bowen.
Survivors include his mother, two sons, three daughters, one sister, 15 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren.
He was 84 when he passed away in Springdale, Arkansas. I have a copy of his obit.
