Victim of Injuries is Dead At Ravenna. Prosecutor Fails to order Inquest in Possible Accident. Ravenna, Jan 28. Charles Luke, 56, died Sunday at the Portage county hospital from injuries sustained while working in the Hanna woods, near here, on Jan. 22. He was found by searchers after his wife became alarmed when he did not return home for supper. He was unconscious when found. It has not been definitely known how he sustained the injury which caused his death, although it is thought he may have been struck by a falling limb. He never regained consciousness. Funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the home, with Rev. David E. Scot, pastor of the Methodist Episcopal church officiating. Burial will be made in Maple Rest cemetery with Strickling in charge. Survived by his widow, Orrie E. Luke, he is survived by his son, George F. Luke, and daughters, Mrs. Alpha Welsher, Mrs. Walter Jory, both of Ravenna, and Mrs. Luella Boggess of Cleveland. There are four grandchildren, a sister, Mrs. Joseph Kirk of Ravenna, and a brother, A. D. Luke, Cleveland. He was a member of Yeoman Lodge of Cleveland. Prosecuting Attorney E. L. Foote today had not signed an order for an inquest by Coroner J.R. Turner
