Funeral services for Mrs. Melva Leona Enloe, 55, were conducted Thursday afternoon at the Kays Chapel by the Rev. Earl Wood. Burial was in Dooley Cemetery under the direction of Kays Funeral Home.
Mrs. Enloe died late Monday, June 28, at her home east of Olean. She was the daughter of Marion and Mary Noyse Holder of Rocky Mount. She was born on Nov. 24, 1898.
She spent her entire life in the Olean community and was well known. She was married to Wade Enloe in Dec. 17, 1951. She is survived by her husband; four uncles, William Holder of Eldon, Charley Holder of Rocky Mount, Frank Noyse and John Noyse of Versailles; and an aunt, Mrs. Louella Etter of Rocky Mount.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, George. She was a member of the Blue Spring Baptist Church.
