Maddox had lived in Burkburnett for three years before moving to Cameron in 1991. He was retired having worked for several years for MKT Railraod and as a farm and ranch laborer. He was a member of the Assembly of God church.
Survived by four daughters - Joy Bennett of Olney, Sharon Thompson of Anadarko, OK; Darlene Maddox of Wichita Falls, Anita Garcia of Cameron; three brothers - Joe Maddox, Harley Maddox and Eldon Maddox, all of Enid, OK; one sister - Maxine Maddox of Waukomis, OK; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.
