She was baptized at St Saviour's Cathedral, Southwark, Surrey (now South London) on 22 Oct 1834. In 1858 she married Frederick William Snell in Lambeth, South London. In March 1859 the family was living in Guildford Road, South Lambeth, then moved to Brixton, and by October 1861 was living at Gothic House, Tulse Hill. When their third son was born they were living at Clapham Road. In 1871 they lived at Brooklyn House, Jeffreys Road, Stockwell, and in 1881 at 56 Jeffreys Road, which is likely to be the same address. By 1891 they have moved to "The Chestnuts", Pauls Cray Common Road, Chislehurst, Kent.
By 1901 her husband had retired and they were living at "Duncroft", Kenley, Coulsdon, Surrey, where he died. She was living at 11 Oakdale Road, Tunbridge Wells, Kent, when she died leaving an estate of £11,136 8s 2d.
She was the mother of Frederic Alford Snell (1859-1954) Solicitor, Charles Dashwood Snell (1861-1950) Clergyman, and John Beddome Snell (1863/4-1949) Solicitor.
