SMETHPORT, Pa. -- Mrs. Isabelle F. Sheffer, 57, of Cyclone, died Wednesday (Feb. 12, 1969) in Bradford Hospital, where she was admitted earlier that day.
She was born Feb. 19, 1912 in Austin, a daughter of Thomas and Edna Threehouse Moran. On Apr. 2, 1930, at Little Valley, NY, she married Paul Sheffer, who survives. They had lived in Cyclone since 1935.
Mrs. Sheffer was a graduate of the Olean (N.Y.) High School. She was a member of the Lutheran Church of Lamartine.
Surviving, besides her husband, are sons, Paul R. Sheffer Jr. and John J. Sheffer; daughters, Mrs. Robert Walter, Mrs. Lawrence Gross and Mrs. Howard Roberts; 11 grandchildren; one brother, Leo Moran of Bradford; sisters, Mrs. Edward Gardner of Phoenix, Ariz. and Mrs. Caroline Lattin of Williamsport; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received at the Fry Funeral Home after 1:30 p.m. today where a funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday (Feb. 15, 1969). The Rev. John Connelly, pastor of Cyclone Community Church, officiating. Burial will be in Rosehill Cemetery at Smethport.
