Mrs. Margaret Jane Marlin, 84, of 327 North O Street, long-time Muskogee resident and widow of a former hardware merchant here, died in a local hospital yesterday.
Mrs. Marlin, widow of J.L. marlin, was a native of Sharp county, Ark., but had resided in this vicinitry the past 55 years. She was a member of the First Baptist church here.
Funeral services will be held at 2 pm Friday from the Agent chapel with Rev. Felix Wagner, pastor of First Baptist church, and Rev. Don Harrell, pastor of First Methodist church, officiating. Internment will be in Greenhill cemetery.
Mrs. Marlin is survived by a son, J.H. Marlin, Muskogee; five daughters, Mrs. Mary McCrume and Mrs. W.E. Garrison, both of Pueblo, Colo.; Mrs. Roxie Shannon, El Cajon, Calif.; Mrs. I.A. Miller, Lexington, Ky., and Mrs. W.B. Norman, Kirkwood, Mo.; two brothers, Sam and Jim Bray, both of Evening Shade, Ark.; three sisters, Mrs. Frank Douthit, Black Oak, Ark.; Mrs. Charley Phillips, Tulore, Calif.; and Miss Bertha Bray, Evening Shade, Ark.; nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
