Evelyn Fussell Armstrong - age 98, born October 14, 1909 went to be with the Lord Friday, March 28, 2008. Evelyn was preceded in death by her husband, James Curtis. She is survived by two daughters, Jacqueline Palmer and Janice Joyner (Mickey); five grandchildren, Beverly Crawford (Kent), Susan DiPuma (Paul), Holly Meza (John), Shannon Joyner (Terrie), Starla Goff (Glenn); eleven great grandchildren, Blake, Katie and Will Crawford, Jason DiPuma, Ashley and Jacob Meza, Curtis, Kersten and Josh Joyner, Dylan and Dalton Goff; one brother, Johnny Fussell. Evelyn's family wishes to thank all the Sisters and Staff of Sacred Heart Residence for all the love and care she received the 8 .5 wonderful years she lived there. But most of all for the compassion and caring comfort during her illness. Visitation will be Sunday, March 30, 2008 from 5-7 p.m. at Radney Funeral Home. Graveside services and interment will be Monday, March 31, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at Brushy Creek Cemetery, Chapman, AL. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Sacred Heart Residence, Little Sisters of the Poor, 1655 McGill Ave., Mobile, AL 36604.
