Marjorie Hardy defined the word generous. She was married to Joseph Hardy until his death in 1979. The couple was never able to have children so Marjorie showered her love on his sister's (Eloise) children and grandchildren. Marjorie was always there with a warm smile and open arms. To her great-nieces she played the role of surrogate grandma as her sister did not live close by. Every birthday she would bring one present for the child not having the birthday so no one would feel left out.
