"Mrs. Cloey Armeta Ireland, 65, a resident of Norfolk for the past 31 years, died after a long illness yesterday at 8:25 p.m. at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Inez I. Hall, 4920 Partridge Street, Norview. Born in Pamilco County, NC, she was daughter of the late Thomas and Morona [sic] Clark and widow of William F. Ireland. Surviving are two sons, Norman G. and Ernest L. Ireland; two daughters, Mrs. Hall and Mrs. Rena Smith, all of Norfolk, and eight grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at the Derry Funeral Chapel at 2 p.m. tomorrow. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery."
