REBA BECK -- 1928 - 2011

Reba Miller Beck, longtime Snyder resident, died Sunday, May 1, in Snyder Healthcare Center after a lengthy illness.
Graveside service for Mrs. Beck, 83, is set for 2 p.m. Tuesday in Hillside Memorial Gardens. Arrangements are under the direction of Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home.

Born Jan 28, 1928 in Junction, she married Elton B. Beck on April 6, 1947 in Snyder. He died June 3, 2008. She also was preceded in death by her parents, Charlie Ishmael and Bertha Teen (Schoolcraft) Miller. A resident of Snyder since 1942, Mrs. Beck was a homemaker, former real estate agent and a Methodist.

Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Wayne and Marlene Beck of Snyder and Don and Cindy Beck of Lubbock, two sisters, Bessie Merritt of Snyder and Ella Bullard of Baird; a brother, Alex Miller of Odessa; five grandchildren, Daniel Beck of Big Spring, Barbara Beck and Dennis Beck, both of Snyder, Shayna Buckner of Abernathy and Kay McCarthy of Dumas; two step grandsons, Terry Lindsley of Austin and Tommy Linsley of Snyder; and 12 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 6:30 to 7:30 this evening at the funeral home.
