Hubert O. Davis was born July 14, 1888 at Compton, Gloucestershire, England and immigrated to the United States in April 1908. He first worked as a furniture finisher in Salt Lake City. Later that same year he went to Evanston, Wyo, and began his 45 yr employment with the Union Pacific Railroad in Jan 1909. He retired as an locomotive engineer July 15, 1954.
June 26, 1913 Hubert and the former Cora A Brown were married. They have two sons and two daughters. Their sons, Ralph & Virgil, are now working as firement for the UP RR. There 10 grandchildren enjoy visiting Grandma nd Grandpa at their home. 949 Morse Lee St., Evanston, Wyo.
