Bruce H. BARTON, 73, of Crystal Spring died unexpectedly March 14, 1963. He was a tax collector in Brush Creek for 35 years. He was born Dec. 4, 1889, in Brush Creek Twp., Fulton County, a son of the late J. Clark and Margaret (Hill) Barton. He was married to the former Edith H. Mellott Oct. 6, 1915. His wife survives with five children: Mrs. Hazel Brambley, Breezewood; Mrs. Leone Remsburg, Warfordsburg; Bernard C., at home; Mrs. Jane Gipe, Chambersburg, and Mrs. Shirley Remsburg, Warfordsburg; a sister, Mrs. Sadie Bequeath, Breezewood; 9 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He was a member of the McKendree Methodist Church and a 51-year member of the Breezewood I.O.O.F.
