"Funeral services for Mrs. Edmond R. Fisher, of rural Carrollton, were held Monday at the Gibson-Rice Funeral Home in Carrollton, with burial in Beaty Cemetery.

Mrs. Fisher, the former Julia Belle Ogle, was born August 8, 1910, near Bogard, daughter of Frank F. and Leona Raffety Ogle. After graduating from Bogard High School, she was employed at Mattingly's at Carrollton several years before she became clerk of the probate court at Carroll County where she served for 45 years until her death Saturday morning.

Mrs. Fisher was a member of the Bogard Baptist Church where she had a Sunday school class for many years. At the time of her death she was worthy matron of Bogard Chapter 271, Order of the Eastern Star; president of the Carroll County Republican Women's Club; a life member of the Carroll County Historical Society; and past president and active member of the Business and Professional Women's Club.

She is survived by her husband, Edmond (Pinky) Fisher of the home on Highway 65 North, Carrollton; cousins, nieces and nephews." The Chillicothe Constitution-Tribune, June 26, 1980
