Ida Alice Boll married William Heiskell Sims on May 7, 1919 in Bartholomew County, Indiana and they were the parents of William Henry Sims, Robert Sims, Mildred Jean (Sims) Fiesbeck, Forrest Dale Sims, and Doris Marie (Sims) Ritz.

Ida was a half-sister of Frank Boll, child of Michael Henry Boll and his first wife, Manerva Irene Bernard.

Ida was a full sister of Katie May (Boll) Ott, child of Michael Henry Boll and his second wife, Anna Eliza Stillabower.

Ida Alice Sims, 93, formerly of 316 Sycamore, died early today at Columbus Convalescent Center, 2100 Midway.

She was the widow of Heiskell Sims who died June 15, 1967. She was a member of First Lutheran Church and Lutheran Christian Women in Columbus.

Funeral service will be conducted by the Rev. Jerry Meilke at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Hathaway-Myers Funeral Chapel where calling hours will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday. Burial will be at Garland Brook Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to First Lutheran Church Foundation or the American Heart Association.

Mrs. Sims was born April 1, 1893, in Bartholomew County, the daughter of Henry and Eliza Stillabower Boll.

Survivors include a son, Robert Sims, of 12480 S. Road 350W; two daughters, Doris Ritz of 316 Sycamore and Jean Fiesbeck of 7110 E. Road 50 N; eight grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
