Ruth is the daughter of William Goddard and Keziah Coyes of Marlborough,Middlesex Co.,MA..She married the Rev. Jacob Rice,son of Jacob Rice and Hannah Howe of Marlborough,on 19 Oct 1769.They were parents of seven children,who were all born in Henniker,Merrimack Co.,NH.
