Charlotte K. (Snodgrass) Hubbard, 69, of Derby, VA died Saturday, September 11, 2010, at Holston Valley Hospital, Kingsport, TN.
She lived all her life in this area and was a member of Derby United Methodist Church. She had been a market cashier and a member of the Order of the Eastern Star.
She was preceded in death by her father Edward Snodgrass, her sister Shirley Williams, and her brother Fred Snodgrass.
Charlotte is survived by her husband of 25 years, James Hubbard of the home; her mother, Margaret Snodgrass of Derby, VA; her sons Charles (Sam) and wife Kathy Fisher of Big Stone Gap, VA and Thomas (Tom) Fisher of Stonega, VA; her sister, Alice and husband Rev. Billy McDonald of Derby, VA; her brothers, Edward and wife Patsy Snodgrass of Chesterfield, VA and Kenneth and wife Emily Snodgrass of Richmond, VA; grandsons, Dustin Fisher and Eric Fisher; one great-grandson, Kaden Fisher; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM on Monday (September 13, 2010) at Gilliam Funeral Home, Big Stone Gap, VA, with the funeral services following at 8 PM in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Carl Mehaffy officiating.
Graveside services will be held at 11 AM on Tuesday (September 14, 2010) at Powell Valley Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. Family and friends are asked to assemble at Gilliam Funeral Home at 10:30 AM to go in procession to the cemetery. Pallbearers will be family members and friends.
