Daniel Purnell, Oak Park Resident 55 Years, Dies
Daniel D. Purnell, 75 years old, a resident of Oak Park for fifty-five years, died at his home at 1032 Ontario street in the suburb yesterday. He had been ill three weeks. Born in Wales, he came to this country when he was a boy, settling in the east and later moving to Oak Park, where he operated a hardware business. Later he was a roofing salesman. He is survived by his widow and nine children. The funeral will be held at 2 o'clock tomorrow from the First Evangelical church, Marion and Ontario streets in Oak Park. Burial will be made in Forest Home cemetery.
