ROBERT MCKEE DIED

HELTONVILLE-Robert D. McKee, R. 1, Heltonville, died Friday at Dunn Memorial Hospital in Bedford.

Born January 10, 1910, in Kentucky, he was the son of Thomas and Leona (Garner) McKee. He was retired from General Motors Allison Division in Indianapolis and was a member of the Old Chapel Hill Pentecostal church. He married Gayle (East) Deckard on July 30, 1952.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Delmar McKee of Spencer; a daughter, Mary Cobb of Sanders; two stepdaughters, Patricia Scott of Unionville and Donnetta May of Sanders; two stepsons, Clyde Deckard of Unionville and Jerry Deckard of Bloomington; 26 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren; two sisters, Marybeth Hendricks and Mrs. Lou Dick, both of Kentucky; a brother, Pete McKee, also of Kentucky; and several nieces and nephews.

Services will be at 2 PM Monday at the Jones Funeral Home in Heltonville, Harold Eads and Perry Hawkins officiating. Burial will be in the Chapel Hill Cemetery.

Friends may call from 7-9 PM tonight, 2-9 PM Sunday and 11 AM to the time of services, Monday.
