Funeral services were conducted Wed. at Brush Creek Baptist Church for Mrs. Fronia Lewis Stearman, 81, who died Mon [10 Aug 1959] at her home in Allendale, after a long illness. Burial was in the Perkins Cem. Mrs. Stearman was a member of Brush Creek Baptist Church. Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Will Skaggs, Chapman, Ill; Mrs. Jessie Cantrell, Magnolia; Mrs. Homer Walker, Mt. Sherman; and Miss Gertie Stearman, Summersville; 5 sons, Tom, George, Charlie, Francis Stearman, all of Summersville and Wesley Stearman, Danville; 3 sisters, Mrs. Sarah Margaret Durrett, Mrs. Betty Shafner, and Mrs. Julie Noe, all of Green County. The funeral will be at Brush Creek Baptist Church. Cowherd & Parrott Funeral Home.
