Frank Krainik obituary, The Lodi (Wisconsin) Enterprise, 18 November 1954.


Frank Krainik, the son of Anton and Barbara Krainik, was born in the town of Dane on October 29, 1880, and spend his entire life in the Lodi area. He passed away on Nov. 14, 1954, after a brief illness at the age of 74.


Mr. Krainik and his two brothers, Thomas and Joseph, operated the Krainik Brothers livestock buying firm at Lodi, Merrimac and Waunakee for many years. His two brothers preceded him in death three years ago.


Mr. Krainik is survived by a niece, a nephew, and a grand-niece.


His many friends will miss his familiar figure on the streets of Lodi, "his town" which was the object of his civic pride and devoted interest through the years.


Funeral services were held on Tuesday at the Hamre Funeral Home. Mrs. Esther Richards was the soloist, accompanied by Mrs. Blanche Menes at the organ. Burial took place at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.


Pallbearers were Howard Wilson, Charles Tucker, Russell Lee, Herman Schilling, Herbert Wolff and Peter Schniderbanger.
