OSCAR WILHELM DAHLQUIST

EVANSTON—Services for Oscar Wilhelm Dahlquist were Saturday, May 14, at the Mountain View School gym, and burial was at the Fort Bridger Cemetery.

Dahlquist, 94, of Mountain View, died May 9 in the Evanston Regional Hospital.

He was born April 16, 1894 in Park City, Utah, to Andrew and Mary Erickson Dahlquist.

He married Erma Lavern Johnson on June 19, 1923 in Ogden, Utah.
He was a rancher, veteran of World War I, charter member of American Legion Post No. 36, member of VFW and served as Uinta County commissioner for two terms. He was a member of Mountain View school board for a number of years.

Survivors include his wife of Mountain View; two daughters, Mrs. Elna Rae Ortega of Mountain View and Mrs. Carder (Iris) Largent of Mountain View; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; two brothers, Henry Dahlquist of Pocatello, Idaho, and Nels Dahlquist of Wilson; two sisters, Elna Dahlquist of Pocatello and Mrs. Marie Christoffers of Pocatello.
