James S. Schwab, aged 55 years, died at his home near Midway Wednesday
morning, June 1, 1921. His death, which was caused by erysipelas, followed an illness of only a week. He was a farmer and well known in the community. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Dora Rommes Schwab and ten children. Funeral services conducted by Rev. W. M. Hays, pastor of the First Presbyterian church of Burgettstown, were held at his late home Friday morning at 11 o'clock. The interment was in the Candor cemetery.
