A native of Lynn, Mass., he lived in Jensen Beach for nine years.
Before retirement, he was an assistant agent for the Veterans Administration, Lynn, for 32 years.
He served in the Coast Guard during World War II. He was a member of Amvets. He enjoyed golfing.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Florence Frawley of Jensen Beach; a stepdaughter, Linda Post and husband Phil of Middleton, Mass.; three stepsons, Alan Mahan and wife Bonnie of Boxford, Mass., Bradley Mahan of Rye Beach, N.H., and David Mahan and wife Katherine of Danvers, Mass.; two brothers, Joseph Frawley of Lynn and Robert Frawley of Brooksville, Fla.; and eight grandchildren.
Friends may call from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday, May 2, at Aycock Funeral Home, Jensen Beach.
A service will be at 11 a.m. Monday, May 3, at the funeral home. The Rev. Thomas Rynn of St. Martin de Porres Catholic Church will officiate.
Burial will be in All Saints Cemetery, Jensen Beach.
