R. H. LOONEY LORAINE

LORAINE, OCT. R, (RNS)~~ Robert Hunter Looney, Jr., 66, prominent rancher and farmer, died Wednesday morning at 10:05 at his home, seven miles south of here. He had suffered from a heart ailment.
Mr. Looney was a native of Mitchell County and a descendant of early settlers. He was born in Colorado City June 22, 1885, the son of Mr. and Mrs. R. H. Looney, Sr. His father was a former judge and mayor of Colorado City.
He was married to Maggie Smith December 18, 1909, in Colorado City.
Survivors are the wife, a daughter, Mrs. Stanton Hutchins and a son, Robert H. Looney III, both of Loriane; and four sisters, Mrs. Harvey Lindsay of Piedmont, California, Mrs. Marcus Snyder, Billings, Montana, Mrs. Juliet Rowley, Fort Davis, and Mrs. Marguerite Thomas, Petaluma, California.
Funeral will be held at 4 p.m. Thursday at All Saints Eiscopal Church in Colorado City, the Rev. Robert Purrington of Sweetwater, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in Colorado City Cemetery under direction of Kiker and Son Funeral Home.
Pallbeareres will be Joe Earnest, Colorado City; Claude Swann, Maryneal; A. C. Morgan, Big Wells; and Glyn Coen, Doyle Hester, M. A. Donahue, Garland Carey and Virgil Henderson, all of Loraine.
