Married George Levi Bright 2 May 1883, Lampasas, Texas.

From the 1 Nov 1917 Hereford Brand :

Mrs. G. L. Bright, aged 60, was found burned ...in the back yard of her residence in west Hereford about ten o'clock last Monday morning. The body of the unfortunate woman was found by her husband upon his return from a half hour's absence to purchase coal for the household.
Mrs. Bright was an invalid and at the time was confined to her bed. It is presumed that the bed clothes in some manner caught fire and that she attempted to extinguish the blaze. Burned marks on the walls near the bed and on the floor bore mute evidence of the desperate efforts made to crawl to safety. The struggle must have been a silent one as though neighbors were close by no one heard anything out of the ordinary and no inkling of the terrible tragedy was had until the return of Mr. Bright.
Deceased is survived by her sons B H A V J M and Jesse Bright. Funeral services were held at 5 o'clock Monday afternoon.

[Note: Initials don't all match names of known children. Jesse was her daughter-in-law Jessie Pettigrew Bright.]
