Landis B. Denney, 96, of Las Cruces. died Monday. Nov. 10, 2001 [should be 2003]. She was born June 2, 1907 in Big Sandy, TX to James T. Blackstone and Ada Baird. Landis was a lifelong member of the Church of Christ. She is survived by her son and his wife, brothers, sister, three grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren, Landis was preceded in death by her husband Will B. Denny, Sons Richard Arlan and Carl Gene and by two brothers and one sister. A graveside service will be at 11:00 AM Monday, Nov. 17, 2003 at the Grove Hill Cemetery in Dallas, TX. Getz Funeral Home.
