Mrs Muirheid Dies after Long Illness - She was the Widow of Major Muirheid, Former Resident of Pennington
Mrs Priscilla BUNN Muirheid, widow of Major John G Muirhied, who was at one time warden of the Mercer County Jail and a forner resident of Pennington, died at the home of her son in law, B M Woodward, 428 Rutherford Avenue yesterday afternoon. She was 72 years old.
The funeral will take place tomorrow....Interment in Pennington.
Two children, Mrs Woodward with whom she has made her home for the past ten years, and J G Muirheid, survive. two brothers, Howard Bunn of Rahway
and Joseph C Bunn of Pennington, two sisters, Mrs E M Moore of Odessa Del, and Mrs S G Gurnee of Philadelphia survive.
Mrs Muirheid was of the old Bunn family of Hopewell Township, and her ancestory can be traced back 200 years in that vicinity. She had lived in Pennington for many years and was well known in Hopewell Township and in this city. She had been ill for several months, following the death of her husband which resulted indirectly from injuries received in a runaway accident.
