Mrs Flora Shavalier, 95, of 1846 Ruddiman Drive, North Muskegon died Dec 5 at her home. Lifelong resident of western Michigan, she was born in Muskegon Oct 1, 1863, and married James Shavalier here in 1880. The couple made their home in Newaygo from that time until Mr Shavaliers death in 1912, when Mrs Shavalier returned to Muskegon, making her home here since.
She leaves a sister, Mrs Ernest Beegle of Laketon Township, and several nieces and nephews. Services were held Dec 7 from the Witt Funeral Home and burial was in Laketon Township Cemetery.
