Statesboro - Frederick Bryan Darley, Sr., 76, died Saturday , April 5, 2003 at his residence after a long illness. He was a native of Toombs County but had lived in Bulloch County most of his life. Mr. Darley was co-owner of Darley Insurance Agency, Inc., a member of the Statesboro Rotary Club, a member of the Ogeechee Lodge 213 F & AM Masons, Scottish Rites, the Shriners and Snooky's Coffee Club. He was also a member of the Statesboro First United Methodist Church and was in the Dan Williams Sunday School Class. Mr. Darley was a veteran of WW II having served in the U.S. Navy.

Survivors are his wife Colleen Parrish Darley; one daughter and son-in-law Pam D. and Rick Smith; a son and daughter-in-law, F. Bryan and Joy Darley, all of Statesboro; two sisters, Evelyn Mabry of Statesboro and Carolyn Cannon Gay of Millen; a sister-in-law June Darley of Orlando, FL; four grandchildren, Audrey C. Smith, Abby R. Smith, Beau Darley, and Chad Darley, all of Statesboro.
Visitation 3:00-7:00 p.m., Sunday at Hodges-Turner-Anderson Funeral Home.

Funeral Services: 11:00 a.m. Monday at Statesboro First United Methodist Church with Rev. Don Adams officiating, assisted by Rev. Ken Morgan.

Burial: Eastside Cemetery.
