Mrs. Jennie Giles Byers, widow of the late Lincoln Byers, died at 10:50 Sunday forenoon at the home of her son, Harry Byers, residing on State Highway 54, a quarter mile east of Springville, following an illness of three months.
She was born the daughter of John and Sarah Dixon Giles and was born in Springville October 17, 1867. He marriage with Lincoln Byers occurred in October 1885. He preceded her in death May 12, 1935.
She is survived, besides the son, Harry by another son, Dr. Norman R. Byers; two sisters, Mrs. Anna Canfield and Mrs. Etta Hennon; three brothers Lon Giles, Fred Giles and Malcolm Giles; four grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at the residence in Oolitic at 3 o'clock Tuesday afternoon and burial will follow in Springville Chrsitain Cemetery in Springville.
