OBITUARY:
Jonesboro, Oct. 16 Ira Pearson, 91, died at 4:30 p.m. today at the home
of a son, Otis Pearson, 502 West Sixth Street, Jonesboro, following an illness
of three weeks. He had resided with the son seven years. Survivors include
four sons, Otis, Jonesboro; Everett, Indianapolis; Earl, Summitville, and
Earnest, Anderson; one stepdaughter, Mrs. Charles Elliott, Spiceland, Indiana;
four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Body was taken to 731 South
Main Street, Fairmount, where it will remain pending funeral rites
