Tibute of Respect

Sallie Pearl Ryan, daughter of M R and A C Ryan, died July 3, 1897 after lyngering with typhoid fever for thirteen days.

Sallie was born January 8, 1882 and joined the Baptist Church in 1893 at the tender age of eleven.

She gave every evidence of a true Christian hope and faith in Christ and had the love and esteem of all who knew her. Few of her tender age have so many warm friends. But God, who doeth all things well, has seen fit to call her to her reward above

While we are sad ove the loss of our dear little sister Pearl, yet we fee sure that our loss is her gain and we musst bow in humble submission to the will of Him who give and also takes our dear children.

The remains of little Pearl were interred at the Harmon burying ground on Sunday, July 4, at 4 o'clock with the attendance of a large concourse of mourning friends.
