Private funeral services will be held at 9 p.m. today at the H. Brown and Son Funeral Home in Warren and regular services at 11 a.m. Tuesday for Earl R. Allen, 78, who died at 5:50 p.m. Saturday at his home on Warren Route 1. Burial will be in Lancaster Cemetery.
His marriage to Glagie I. Myers, who survives, took place Jan. 1, 1913 in Warren.
Surviving in addition to the wife and five daughters, one of whom is Mrs. Galen Shultz of Montpelier, four sons, a sister, 36 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, two step grandchildren and three step-great-grandchildren.
