Funeral Services for Herman C. Agee,83,Stroud, were Tuesday at the Stroud First Baptist Church, with Rev. Curtis Nigh,pastor,officiating. Interment was at Stroud Cemetery with the Stroud Curry Funeral Home directing arrangements.
Agee died Saturday in an Ok. City hospital. He was born July 25,1888, at Whitesville,Mo. He was married to Bessie Elsey on Feb. 10, 1910 at Stillwater,Ok. She preceded him in death. Agee had been employed 42 yrs. as the superintendent of Stroud Water and Light System before his retirement.
Survivors include one son, Emry Agee of Blanchard: one daughter, Mrs. Gertrude Barr, Oklahoma City; three sisters,Mrs.Ida Lee, Moberly,Mo.; Mrs. Delia McCulley,Hownd,Ks; and Mrs Alean Miller, of Stanberry,MO., and one grandchild.
