Mrs. Grace B Kump, 75, Orrtanna R1, died at 9:50 Friday evening at her home. She had been in declining health since last November.
A native of Buchanan Valley and lifelong resident of Adams County, she is the daughter of the late
John and Sarah McClosky Brady. She was a ember of St. Ignatius Catholic Church, Buchanan Valley, the Rosary Society, the Parish Council of Women and several years as chairman of the kitchen committee for the annual church picnic. She worked for a number of years as a seasonal employee of the Musselman Fruit Products Division of Pet Inc. Her husband, the late William E Kump, died in 1960.
Surviving are three children John B Kump, William A Kump and Mrs. Helen J Kimple, all of Orrtanna R1, 10 grandchildren, a sister, Mrs. Lawrence Hall, Gettysburg R6 and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday morning with a meeting at the Monahan Funeral Home at 9:00 to go to ST. Ignatius Catholic Church for a requiem Mass at 10:00 celebrated by her pastor,
Msgr. Louis J Yeager. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
