McGlamery was a native of Bulloch County. He retired from the Statesboro Fire Department as a captain and was a member of Statesboro First Baptist Church.
Also surviving are two other sons, W.M. "Mac" McGlamery of Statesboro and Wendell McGlamery of Decatur; two brothers, Walter E. McGlamery of Statesboro and A. Grady McGlamery of Atlanta; and eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral: 2 p.m. today at Statesboro First Baptist Church, burial in Eastside Cemetery. Smith-Tillman Mortuary of Statesboro.
