Marshall, Michigan
Friday July 5, 1907
---Richard Perrett, son of Mr. and Mrs. George R. Perrett passed away Monday evening after an illness of about three weeks duration. The nature of his ailment was peculiary trying and difficult to diagnose. Nothing that medical science could suggest was left undone to save his life, but all in vain. The only son of fond and devoted parents, life's perspective filled with brilliant prospects; it would seem that he might have been spared for many years to come.
---The parents and grandparents who are crushed with grief, and all who are mourning the demise of the little fellow have the sympathy of not only near friends but the entire community.
---The funeral services were held at Trinity Episcopal church Wednesday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock.
