DEATH NOTICE - WABLE

Wilbert Homer Wable, 56, of Forth Hill, Died October 1, 1971 at his home. He was born March 7, 1915 in Confluence, a son of Agnes Alice (Smith) Wable and the late Albert Lucius "Bert" Wable.

Besides his mother and his wife, the former Jane Folk, he is also survived by these children: Kenneth of R.D. 1, Grantsville, MD; Keith, attending California State College, California, PA and Kathleen, at home; two brothers and one sister, Analda Eugene "Jack" Wable of Washington, D.C.; Perry E. Wable of Canton, Ohio and Mrs. Betty (Wable) Balsinger of Upper Darby.

He was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Fort Hill. Also, he was well known throughout Somerset County as a farmer and Maple King in 1961, 1963, 1965, 1967 and 1969. He was employed by the Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission as an ambulance helper.

Friends will be received after 7 p.m. Saturday at the Price Funeral Home where services will be conducted Monday at 2:30 p.m., the reverend Daniel Whitacre officiating. Interment in Maple Glen Cemetery.
