Betty was born June 25, 1933 in Caliente, Nev., to ernest and Catherinec Cooley. She was reared in Lund, Utah, and Salt Lake City, Utah. She worked for 21 years at Time-Mark Corp, in Tulsa as a test operator.
She is survived by her sons, Ric and wife Kathy Wailes of Salt Lake City, Utah, and Ron and wife Sandy Hindmarsh of Provo, Utah; daughters, Nancy and husband Ron Atwood of Fremont, Utah, April and husband Johnny Johnson of Chelsea, Cindy Drake of Catoosa and Lorrain and husband Bo Collins of Chelsea; brothers and sisters-in-law, Bob and wife Priscilla Cooley of Salt Lake City, Utah, Vern and wife Barbara Cooley of Sandy, Utah, Johnnie Kilpatrick and Gladys Kilpatrick; sisters, Donna and Wallace Matthews of West Jordan, Utah, Naomi and husband Orion Wilcock and Leola Cooley, all of Salt Lake City, Utah. 23 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
She was preceded by her husband J. W. Kilpatrick and son-in-law Billy Drake. (Also a sister Norma Jean Cooley Wilcock, brothers Keith and Cameron Cooley)
